Both are not really relevant for a sales guy, the CISM is geared more towards the bigger picture, while CISSP is more... detail oriented?

I&#039;d say that if you&#039;re looking for bunches of characters to put beside your name, go for CISSP because it&#039;s more well known.

Disclaimer: I hold neither and have strong opinions on the value of these certifications for a security professional and for the world in general. Other than my Bachelor degree I hold no industry certifications.

Keep in mind, I am a sales dude with droves of experience in the Info Sec markets. Also, keep a watch out for my blog the name will be something around things(technical) being so easy a sales guy could do it...
